The C.H.A.O.S. (Community, Heritage, Adventure, Outdoors, and Skills) Program is a one semester integrated experiential program offered at the Grade 9 and 10 level. Students who are accepted to participate will spend one semester at the Wood Street Center. You will become a member of a small cohort of students who will complete 4 courses with one instructor over one semester.
CHAOS 9 & 10 is open to all grade 9 and 10 students enrolled in the Yukon and will be delivered as an enrichment program to regular courses offered to students at that level. Integration of subject areas, as well as, Yukon First Nation and western knowledge will be the focus during the semester.
Students that make the commitment to CHAOS 9 will complete the requirements English 9, Socials 9, Ancestral Technology 9 and Outdoor Education 9 through their active engagement in the programming. CHAOS 9 is offered in the Spring Semester every year, February to June.
While students that make the commitment to CHAOS 10 will complete the requirements English First Peoples 10, Socials 10, Ancestral Technology 10 and Outdoor Education 10 through their active engagement in the programming. CHAOS 10 is offered in the Fall semester every year, the end of August to the end of January.
